How to Sign Up?

Joining PREVENT is easy and helps advance critical research on respiratory viruses.

Step 1: Check Eligibility
  • Participants must be [age range] and live in San Diego County.
  • No prior history of respiratory illness is required—both healthy individuals and those with past infections are encouraged to enroll.
Step 2: Complete the Enrollment Form

  • You’ll receive weekly symptom check-ins via text or email.
  • If you develop symptoms, we may ask for a nasal swab sample to test for respiratory viruses.
  • A subset of participants will be invited for immune response testing through optional blood samples.

Who Can Participate?

PREVENT is looking for diverse participants across different age groups, backgrounds, and health conditions.

You can participate if:
